I cannot get my box spring up the stairs at my new house. Has anyone heard of cutting a box spring in half? ?

It is just a standard Queen box spring. Nothing fancy.

You will need to get a split box spring. Try the Original Mattress Factory...if you have one near you. you will need two 30 x 80 box springs. You can't cut a standard in half and then get it together again to make it work. The cost for buying split box springs is only about $50 more for the pair...keep in mind that you HAVE to have a frame with a center support for this to work. Good Luck!
