Wide grip pull ups work your back muscles closer to your spine, close grip pull ups will give you more wide back.
So for best effect, do wide, middle and close-grip pull ups,
and then add close grip chin-ups at the end.
For best results do them with some weight attached to you, so you don't do more then 10 per set.
